Responsibilities

• Implementation of our proprietary platform to build web based applications.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, sys admins, and customers. Tailor web solutions to their needs and requirements.
• Troubleshoot apps for bugs.
• Troubleshoot UI and improve its performance accordingly.
• This includes hand coding HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Implementation of security and data protection .
• Proficient knowledge of PHP, including the Laravel Framework .
• Understanding of SEO standards .
• Follow industry best practices .
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Develop and deploy new features, procedures, and tools.
• Be an active participant on an Agile Software team.

Requirements

• English language
• 3 years of development experience in PHP/Laravel or other OOP language with a focus on enterprise applications and clean, maintainable code.
• Experience with Laravel Framework .
• Experience with front-end development, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation) .
• Comfortable with Linux, SSH and the command line .
• MySQL experience, strong SQL skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently .
• Highly motivated individual with a focus on writing clean, well-tested, Documented,and scalable code .
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop,Adobe XD, Suite, and content management software.

Nice to Haves

• Experience/Knowledge in the eCommerce Industry.
• 5+ years of PHP development experience with recent experience in modern PHP practices and deployment.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Twitch etc…)
• Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
• Amazon Web Services .
• Google cloud .
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Experience with non-SQL database models such as redis and mongodb
